I think that this might be a first for the eurosphere…

I know quite a lot of eurobloggers wish that there was more interraction between EU officials and policy bloggers. I am pleased to say that I have convinced just such a person to conduct guest interviews on each of our respective blogs. In the wider blogosphere this happens all the time, but in the eurosphere not so much. In fact, I cannot recall a single occurence.

Therefore, I am proud to present a link to the blog of Anna Maria Darmanin, Vice President of the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC to you and I), where she has the honour of interviewing me.

I hope that this is the first of many – both for me and for the eurosphere generally.

  1. I have just had it confirmed to me that this IS a first for the eurosphere. I am even more proud…

Thanks to Joe for his promo help. Anna Maria’s post has made it onto top spot on bloggingportal and therefore into the RSS feed on the Guardian in the UK.

    Merci.

Of course, the real question is, how can ‘we’ bring EU officials and elected representatives further towards us???
