If you are one of my regular readers that is interested in EU innovation policy, I would like to draw your attention to an article in last week’s Economist (Start me up August 6th 2011).
The article is actually about Britain rather than the EU, but I think that if the word ‘Britain’ was substituted for ‘Europe’, there wouldn’t be much that would need to change. It discusses the lack of British high-tech entrepreneurs and world leading businesses, the risks they face, access to venture capital, issues relating to copyright and access to the entire European consumer market.
Very interesting. Highly recommended.financialguy
